What Live replaces, what officials need, and what happens without a signal.
01What does VAULTmeet Live replace?+
It replaces paper attempt sheets, hand-calculated standings, separate bar-order notes, and the scramble to publish results after a flight. Registration and payments are part of VAULTmeet Host, not standalone Live.
02Do pit officials need their own VAULTmeet accounts?+
Not for a normal pit assignment. The meet owner creates an official code, and the official enters that code on the device they will use. Owners sign in to create competitions, manage devices, and oversee the meet.
03What happens if the internet drops?+
A prepared scoring device stores its current competition locally and queues supported scoring changes during a connection loss. When the connection returns, Live synchronizes those changes. Preparation happens while online, and some management actions still require a connection.
04Can spectators see results without an account?+
Yes. Public Live pages can show the current flight and standings without exposing the private operator controls or requiring a pit code.
05Do I need VAULTmeet Host to use Live?+
No. Live is available as a standalone organization plan. Choose Host when you also want registration, payments, waivers, schedules, staff tools, and the automatic handoff into Live.
06Can my club practice before paying?+
Yes. VAULTmeet creates a temporary, non-public competition with fictional athletes and opens it inside the actual Live operator application.
07I was given a pit code. Where do I enter it?+
Go straight to the operator entry screen. A pit code is for an official working an existing competition; it is not how a club purchases or sets up Live.
